Choosing a Book
Hitotsubashi University library has a selection of books for you to read. To select a book at the correct level for you, make sure that there are only one or two unknown words per page, otherwise the book will be too difficult to understand and you will not enjoy reading it. Start with a Level Red book and if it is too easy you can move on to Level Blue. It is important that you understand at least 98% of the book you are reading, without using a dictionary. There are three levels: Red, Blue, and Green.

MReader
When you finish a book you should take the quiz on the mreader site.
The url is http://mreader.org
You will answer 10 questions about the book, and you must answer >70% correct to get the points. If you fail the quiz it means that you didn't read the book fully, or that it was too difficult for you. If this happens you should talk to the teacher and think about choosing an easier book next time. If you fail 3 quizzes you will receive a 3000 point penalty.
Reading is 30% of your grade, calculated as your total words / 10,000, rounded down to the nearest whole number.
